Scarvataing Cottage

Scarvataing Cottage is a newly built 5 star self catering cottage that has just been completed in 2011. It provides luxurious accommodation for up to 4 people and is open all year round.  Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is available at the cottage.

The panoramic views and beautiful sunsets make this an idyllic location to explore the surrounding area and the rest of Shetland. 

The sea shore in front of the house is habitat to many seals, otters and various sea birds.

Kitchen/Dining Area - fully fitted kitchen units with sink, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and microwave and induction hob.  Oak dining table and four chairs.  Two comfortable chairs and wall mounted television.  Bookcase with large selection of Shetland books, maps, CDs, Radio/CD player.  Doors leading through to lounge. Solid oak flooring.

Sitting Room - Beautiful views across Aith voe and Muckle Roe with spectacular sunsets. TV with Freeview, DVD player, Hi-Fi with CD, Ipod/Iphone docking, leather suite comprising 3 seater, 2 seater and stool. Coffee table and lamp table. Solid oak flooring.

Bathroom - fully fitted bathroom units with bath, sink, mirror, heated towel rail, toilet and large shower with wet floor. Shetland Soap products. Tiled flooring.

Bedroom 1 - king size bed, two bedside cabinets, dressing table and mirror, chair, chest of drawers, blanket box and double wardrobe.  En-suite with fitted bathroom units, toilet, heated towel rail, mirror, sink and large shower with wet floor. Shetland Soap products.  Tiled flooring.

Bedroom 2 - two single beds, two chest of drawers, double wardrobe. Solid oak flooring.

Utility Room - fully fitted units with washing machine, tumble drier  Ironing board, iron and clothes airers. Tiled flooring. 

The cottage is heated throughout with underfloor heating provided by an air source heat pump.  All heating costs, electricity, towels, linen and welcome pack are included in the price.  There is a Vodafone mobile phone at the Cottage for use during your stay.
